Mr. Tortoise chomped on my eggplant! All that's left is a stem with a few leaves. I wonder if it will grow back? I knew I should have fenced off my little garden area. Mr. Tortoise didn't know that's it's forbidden fruit...he just knows it's tasty!

Oh would I love to have a garden! I have tried unsuccessfully and finally gave up. I've tried gardening in the ground, containers, with no luck! Look forward to seeing your gardening progress!
Thank you Jo for your post. So far the little veggies are doing well. Even the eggplant is leafing back out!
